Now that things have finally calmed to the point that I have time & energy to put toward making things again, I have decided to try relaunching my Patreon! The focus will still be bookbinding, but I will be including other projects as well, such as props and costuming.

For some reason, every once in a while I'll get a new follower despite not having been active on this site for nearly a year now. Not sure what to make of that. At any rate, I'm debating making a comeback. I still despise the new layout, I still think the site's functionality has gone down the crapper, but. Who knows, maybe I'll get used to it. I started bookbinding a little over a year ago. I'm still not great at it (work has kept me SO stupidly busy this past year, I haven't really had time to practice), but I have gotten to a point where I feel comfortable sharing what I make. I'm planning on starting to post my books to my gallery now. If you followed me for my fanfiction, I'm still very active over on AO3.

In addition to making whatever suits my fancy and selling it in my Etsy shop, I also offer custom-made books. I charge for cost of materials plus $15 an hour for labor. See below for materials costs and what I offer for options! PLEASE NOTE THAT I DO REQUIRE COST OF MATERIALS UP FRONT For 8.5x5.5 journals/9x6 sketchbooks: Each book contains 50 sheets (200 pages). I use 20lbs printer paper for journals, with a choice of lined or unlined pages, and white or cream for paper color. I use 50lbs/74g medium-tooth sketch paper for sketch books. Each book comes with hand-sewn endbands and a ribbon marker. Paper & bookcloth half-bound - $15 Full bookcloth - $25 Bookcloth & leather half-bound - $35 Full leather - $50+ Tea- or coffee-dyed papers +$10 Leatherbound books- - cord or tape binding +1 - metal leaf +$8 - raised shapes +$10 - punched with underlying paper/fabric +$12 - resin +$10 - painted
